By summing up emissions and considering different gases’ Global Warming Potential, the total carbon footprint can be calculated to identify high-impact activities and implement solutions such as reducing electricity usage and promoting sustainable transportation.

Furthermore, various solutions like renewable energy, energy efficiency, sustainable mobility, responsible consumption, and investing in carbon offset projects can help reduce carbon impact and combat climate change. The carbon footprint is an essential tool for understanding and mitigating our environmental impact, allowing us to develop strategies to minimize emissions and protect our planet.
